An Early Day Multi-Tool

This is a kit containing all of the implements of a modern multi-tool. The date of this item is unknown, but my guess would be about 1900.

A chisel and screwdriver are part of the kit. These implements are marked "Edward Zinn, New York."

Here is the wooden handled pocket knife.

The knife blade seems to be a drop point style and is marked DRGM.

The pocket knife handle accepts the implements - a file, a saw, chisel, or screwdriver.

This is the attachment point for tools.

The saw blade.

The tools fit firmly into place.
Interesting how this pocket knife, and the tools, are so close to today's modern multi-tool.
